What If Anxiety Didn’t Guide Your Year?

Deepening into Rest, Kindness and Clarity.

The holidays have passed. A new year is unfolding.

For many people, the start of a new year doesn’t bring excitement, but pressure. Pressure to feel better. Do better. Be better.

When anxiety is already part of your life, the pressure of a new year can make everything louder—and when anxiety shows up, the inner critic is often right behind it. Especially the inner voice that tells you you’re behind, failing, or doing it wrong.

What you need is not more pressure or another set of rules for the year ahead. Not more information to consume.

This 4-hour DARE Half-Day Retreat offers you a different starting point. One designed to help your system settle and your inner world soften, before you ask anything more of yourself—rooted in deep rest, a kinder inner voice, and clarity about what truly matters to you.

What You Can Expect

Over the course of the afternoon, you’ll be guided through deeply restful meditations that allow your body to settle and reset. The kind of rest that doesn’t come from doing more, but from finally stopping the internal struggle.

We begin with deeply restful, guided meditations that allow your body and mind to quiet without force, reset and recover. The kind of rest that makes clarity possible again.

Alongside this, we’ll work with clear, practical teachings and practices on self-compassion. Not as a concept, but as something you can actually use when anxiety, doubt, or self-criticism show up. You’ll learn how to meet your inner world with less judgment and more steadiness, without forcing yourself to feel different.

We’ll also explore what truly matters to you, beneath the noise of expectations, pressure, and mental urgency. Through guided reflection and experiential exercises, you’ll clarify a personal north star—something grounded and meaningful that can orient you through the year ahead, even when things feel messy or uncertain.

This is not about becoming a new version of yourself.
It’s about learning how to move forward with less harsh inner criticism, more warmth, and a clearer inner direction.

Our Goal For You

You’ll leave feeling:

  • Genuinely rested, not just mentally stimulated
  • Equipped with a kinder, more spacious way to relate to your inner experience
  • Clearer about what deserves your energy and attention
  • Supported by tools you can return to when anxiety tries to pull you off course

Not another “try harder, think better” experience.
A steadier way forward. From the inside out.

Why This Retreat—And Why With Us

This retreat is guided by Dr. Jorge C. Armesto, clinical psychologist, Mindful Self-Compassion Teacher and Teacher Trainer, and yoga therapist, alongside Aida Beco, licensed therapist, Certified Mindful Self-Compassion Teacher, and yoga instructor.

Dr. Armesto brings decades of clinical experience with anxiety, mindful self-compassion, and inner criticism, paired with a rare ability to translate complex psychological processes into language that feels clear, humane, and applicable in everyday life.

Aida brings extensive experience guiding individuals through anxiety recovery, self-compassion, and inner change, with a grounded, precise, and deeply relational approach that meets people where they actually are—not where they think they should be.

Together, they create a space that is psychologically sound, experientially rich, informed and trustworthy, and deeply compassionate and practical.

Please join us for a skillful inner re-orientation—one that supports rest, warmth, and clarity as you move forward.

We would love to share this space with you.
